About this event
Durham Book Festival returns for a weekend of books and ideas from 9 to 11 October 2026, with a programme celebrating voices from the North and beyond.
To mark the National Year of Reading, the festival is running a North East Big Read of Lucy Foley’s The Hunting Party, with free copies available in libraries and community settings across County Durham.
