Affiliate disclosure
EventHome is free to use and free to list on. To help cover running costs, some links on the site may be affiliate links.
What that means
If you follow an affiliate link — for example to a ticket seller — and then buy something, EventHome may receive a small commission from that company. It doesn’t cost you anything extra.
What it doesn’t mean
- It never decides which events are listed, how they’re described or where they appear. Events are listed because they’re public events that meet our guidelines.
- Featured events are chosen by us. At the moment nobody pays to be featured; if that ever changes, paid placements will be clearly labelled.
Banner ads
Some pages also carry banner ads from 5od, a small ad service run by the owner of this site. They’re for shops and brands in the Awin affiliate network, and they’re chosen to suit the page, not you. Each one is labelled “Ad”. If you buy something after clicking one, EventHome may earn a commission. Ads never affect which events are listed, and they only load if you accept ads cookies; see how ads and cookies work here.
How to spot them
Links to other websites go through an EventHome address beginning /go/. Affiliate links are marked in the page code as “sponsored”, as search engines ask.
